Today consisted almost a full day of cooking and Martial Arts.
Woke up and make another batch of kale chips and managed to not burn them this time (finally) and when to do a final round of stretches before tomorrow’s tournament.
I also attempted to make banana chips before heading out the door. Note to self: when the instruction calls for parchment paper, go buy parchment paper. I didn’t have any and I was lazy so I greased the pan instead. The result? Hardcore fail with banana stuck to the pan. /cry.
They are delicious though. So I will make them again with proper anti-stick method.
I also attempted to make kimchi. That also failed horribly.
Note to self: Mexican chili powder is NOT Asian chili powder.

I am crying over all this wasted food!!
So, I didn’t end up doing much of it right really. Except for the dumplings and the store bought glutinous rice balls with black sesame. We are having these for Chinese New Year.

I guess some days were just not meant for cooking.
